To the uninitiated, mobility and flexibility are not synonymous with strength and conditioning. We know better. Some of the best weightlifters in the world are also the most flexible. Maintaining balance, flexibility and mobility are critical components to improving movement patterns. Better movement means greater increases in strength through the ability to carry heavier loads, but also greater ability to do things like basic gymnastics (pull ups, handstand push ups, etc.) with aplomb and a decreased chance of injury.
