
Despite our gym’s name, CROSSFIT IS ONLY ONE OF MANY TOOLS we use to improve the health, vitality, body composition and performance of our athletes. CrossFit’s brand of fitness is defined by “constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity.” For the average client, this is generally what their current fitness regimen is missing. CROSSFIT BRINGS TO THE FOREFRONT A WORKABLE DEFINITION OF FITNESS (Increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains) as well as the idea that one is only as fit as he is across 10 General Physical Skill domains (Accuracy, Agility, Balance, Coordination, Cardio-Repiratory Endurance, Flexibility, Power, Strength, Speed and Stamina). The CrossFit prescription is a good starting point for most athletes, which is why we incorporate it into our programming.

Excellence. The pursuit of excellence is what sets CrossFit Survival apart from main stream “Globo Gyms”. Here, you’re not just a number—some invisible quantity that signed a contract, never showed and was forgotten. Here, YOU matter. When you arrive, you’ll notice something is different. Everyone greets you. You are helped, taught, corrected and cheered. Our expectations are high. You will run a 5K. You will learn to lift weights. You will squat below parallel. You will strive for excellence. You will be taught correct form. You will learn at your level, which will forever keep getting higher. You will work very hard, and you will be rewarded in LIFE because of it.
CrossFit Survival is a COMMUNITY of people who believe in fitness as a way of life. Our friendships run deep. We work hard, but we have a lot of FUN. We run races, do charity events, celebrate life, cheer each other on and help each other out.
CrossFit Survival recognizes that NO TWO ATHLETES HAVE THE EXACT SAME NEEDS. Many CrossFit gyms are guilty of incorporating a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we take the time to individually assess our clients’ needs based on their goals, demands of their activities, their specific weaknesses and what areas of their health need improvement. Within the framework of a large group setting, we offer a HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH TO FITNESS.
We take a HOLISTIC APPROACH. We place a tremendous emphasis on nutrition and recovery, recognizing that gut health, stress management, adequate sleep, hydration and mobility play a significant role in your training success.

CONTACT. It’s that first step between the known and unknown, the feared and the conquered. It’s what must happen first if change is to occur. IT IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST PART. Why, because it IS unknown. The myriads of doubts, fears and insecurities you carry around in your head manifest themselves and hold you back minute you set about to make a CHANGE.
